MEET OUR 2027 KEYNOTE SPEAKER
David Bennett
David Bennett is managing editor of HomeLife, the flagship magazine of Lifeway Christian Resources, and Open Windows, Lifeway’s longest running devotional. He is author of Critical Decisions: Clarity in the Journey (Serendipity House), co-author of Share Jesus Without Fear (LifeWay Press), a contributor for The Athlete’s Bible (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), and former curriculum writer for Chick-fil-A’s WinShape Camps. He and his wife have three daughters: Mary Claire, Caroline, and Sarah Kate, and a granddaughter, London Rose.
FACULTY APPOINTMENTS
Attendees will have a chance to sign up for one-on-one appointments with an impressive list of industry professionals including keynote speaker David Bennett.
Appointments will be available with our local faculty including editor Dell Self; cover designer Diane Turpin, fiction authors Patricia Bradley, Loretta Eidson, Delores Topliff, Johnnie Alexander, and Tammie Polk.
One-on-one appointments signups will begin Saturday, March 20, at 8 a.m. Besides one-on-one appointment, attendees will have opportunities for fellowship during the meal time, the Meet & Greet, and at the bookstore.
Registration
Online registration for the 2027 Mid-South Conference will open in September. You may pay online via PayPal or by mail with a check. A complete day of training, will include Saturday lunch and the Friday night Meet & Greet
Saturday Workshops
Our 2027 conference will present opportunities for attendees to learn from top-notch professionals in the writing industry. Workshops will be led by more than a dozen authors, editors and agents.
Friday Workshops
Get the most from your MSCWC registration! These three-hour workshop intensives are held simultaneously, from 1 to 4 p.m., so those who register for Friday will be able to choose one of three classes for a modest additional fee.

Don’t miss the opportunity to network and fellowship with faculty and other conference attendees at our Friday night Meet and Greet from 4:30-7:00 p.m. Light hors d’oeurvres are included in the price for paid registrants.
